An Update that I just want to tell y'all

Hi guys,

So, lately, I've been getting a lot of comments, which makes me happy, but a bunch are hate comments. And one literally scared the carrots out of me. Like, it was asking a question that was really personal that I haven't told anyone in these blogs. But see, the creepiest part was that the comment was made by an Anonymous user. I guess it wouldn't make much of a difference if I had known who it was, but it was still worrying.

What? I can't be worried when an Anonymous comments on my post with personal information about me?

Moving on from that, I'm sorry I haven't been updating in a while, I've been busy with school and carrots.

High school is hard.

Sorry kids.

Going back to the whole comment thing, once I figure out how to not let Anonymous people comment, I would like you to know that I won't be allowing Anonymous people to comment anymore. It seriously creeps me out when I see messages asking why I switched schools by Anonymous. WHO ARE YOU?

Oh, god. Its taken me like three days to write this, and I'm not even done.

Okay.

Let's focus.

Basically, all I wanted to say was that Anonymous comments without some kind of signature on them will not be tolerated.

And also, if you let me know what you want to see me ramble about, I will dedicate that post to you, if you leave me your name, screen, pen or real. But seriously, if you are the one who asked me about my school, TELL ME WHO YOU ARE!

So, hi guys!

I haven't made a video in a while, I know. I mean, I did make one, I just haven't finishing editing it. I think. I might've, I just don't really remember.

So, I wanna tell you guys a funny story.

I'm in high school, and my teachers think I'm smart!

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Mother, I swear to God, if this is the first post you comment on, I will punch you.

I am going to be updating GTML probably sometime today. I thought up a couple more things to write. So pretty much, I'll be making a new post and copying and pasting everything from the first post, so no need to read that one first. I will not be making a video most likely. I just don't have the time.

But I will be tweeting it!

I don't know if you guys have heard, but Ryan Higa, one of my favorite YouTubers and inspirations, recently made an email for his channel. I sort of want to do the same thing, not because I wanna copy him, but because I wanna know about you guys! So if you have any questions for me, you can tweet me, ask in my ask box on tumblr, comment on here, comment on my videos, and now you might be able to email me! If my mom will let me. (It'll be my mooshiebar email, not my other one!)

I also wanna make an Instagram, I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Hmm.

Would you guys like videos like that? They would be quick things, crappy and probably unedited, but I would put up a better done video, hmmmmmm, let's say every Friday. That would be like one of my videos that I have up now, I would just have a bunch of vlogs leading up to it. They wouldn't be good vlogs though. They would probably be me ranting to my laptop. Since I'm a student, you wouldn't be following me around in my school. You wouldn't like that.

Bible class... What a waste of time!

I feel like I'm still sitting in my room talking to my stuffed animals.

That's how much of a response I'm getting to this blog.

It's kinda insulting.

According to my stats, I have 104 page views, but no comments.

I'm really insulted.

But I'm gonna keep writing, because it is a welcome respite from Bible class.

My bible class is really hard to focus in. I take maybe 2 notes per class, and pay like no attention.

Ya know, I might as well just address these posts to you, if you're the only one to read them.

Okay, onto the next topic.

Have you guys heard of TedTalks?

It's a thing that I guess a guy called ted started.

But anyways, there was a kid named Sam Berns on it about a month ago. His video is truly inspiring.

He has progeria, a condition that causes his body to age 8 times faster than normal. He had such a positive outlook on life, but sadly, he died last Friday.

Because of his positivity, he had so many opportunities in life that if he hadn't been born with progeria he probably wouldn't have had. For example, a dream of his was to March with his high school marching band while playing the snare drum. The problem was that the snare drum and harness weighed 40 pounds together. Sam only weighed 50. Alongside an engineer, his family worked to make his dream a reality. In the end, Sam along with his team of his family and an engineer, managed to produce a snare drum harness that weighed only 6 pounds. Because of this drive, he was able to accomplish his dream.

The Sunday after he died, Sam was supposed to be an honorary captain of the New England Patriots. He had been friends with the owner, who loved Sam for his positivity. Sam was battling pneumonia and had been staying in the hospital, but everyone expected him to beat this.

He had already lived to age 17, 4 years older than most children with progeria live to. But still, his death came as a surprise to his family.

I strongly suggest you go watch Sam Berns on TedTalks because he talks about his philosophy and guide to a happy life.

But enough of the serious stuff!

By the way, I watched that video during my JS class. Aren't you happy, Mommy? All that tuition being paid to watch YouTube videos for 44 minutes. (We watched another videos afterwards and also discussed it)

So, again! Enough of the serious carrots!

School. Should be paying attention. Am I? NOPE!

I'm writing during school, I'm writing during school, it's so much fun, because I'm writing during school!

Sorry, I'm a little bit happy that I didn't have to present this thing I had to do for history today. Instead I have to do it tomorrow! More time to fix it and get prepared!

So, I wanted to ask something of you guys.

If you would rather I must did one of these, like if you like to read what I think more than here me talking about it, let me know because it would be really easy for me to only do one of the two. They used to do this thing called Surprise Sunday where they had someone who didn't usually do O2L make a video with their theme of the week. And I put in a business request to Ricky Dillon to see if they still did that and if I could be on it!

If you guys wanna see me be on Surprise Sunday, go on any of Ricky Dillon's, Connor Franta's, Kian Lawley's, Trevor Moran's, and Sam Pottoroff's videos and say, WE WANNA SEE MAIA! Because it wanna be on there. PLEASE!

Lila: My best friend in the entire world, I wish she was my sister. I never get to see her though.
Zev (Zevipoo, Zevi, Brother of Mine...): My little bother (I mean brother) who has his own YouTube channel but has no videos. He has been in several of my videos and will be in more.
Alexandra: I don't know if I've mentioned her, but she is my almost step-sister and I will most likely be complaining about her because she is annoying as vacuum.
Allison: My almost step-mom. She is an amazing cook.
Jeffrey: My mom's boyfriend who is, well, he's Morgan.
Jordan: Morgan's daughter who is like a punk. She is awesome.
Jason: Jason is Lila's now ex-boyfriend.
Rachel: A really sweet girl who goes to camp with me. She is really obsessed with Glee. She had a really big crush on Jason at one point, and since then has backed off because he asked Lila out instead of her. I'll get to that big thing later.
Emily: One of my bestest friends in the universe. She is so sweet and we made a video, I just haven't uploaded it yet. Oops.
Josh: Belle's boyfriend and a major jackkangaroo. He spoiled a LOT of Doctor Who for me. But he's really funny and cool. AKA Comrade Marcotte, Marcotte, and a variety of other things.
Belle: A strange person who tries way too hard to be friends with me and Lila. Josh's girlfriend. I was once walking back to our bunk after free time one night, and I saw them making out outside of it. I was trying to sneak past without disturbing them or looking like I was creeping on them, but suave me ended up slipping on the wet grass and falling on my butt. Needless to say, they noticed me screaming as I fell. What? It was a very rainy summer. I think that was the 2nd time I had fallen that night.
Avi: Lila's brother who is older than all of us.
Tyler: A very musically talented guy who goes to camp with me.
Matt: An amazing artist who was part of Aardvarks and who probably has an Aardvark name, I just can't think of it.
Shane: A really funny and fast guy. He doesn't seem important now with his lack of bio, but he was a key part in- Lila's hand magically appeared over my mouth.
Ari: A really strong, really fast, and really tall guy who is really sweet and really good at Jungle Speed.

Nerdy Stuff:
Doctor Who: Just Google it. If I have any theories, I will devote whole videos to explain them. Yup, this is my life.
Sherlock: Another thing to just Google, but make sure that its the version on BBCA and starring Benedict Cumberbatch.
Aardvarks: A group of my friends at camp who meet every Saturday at 2 for Jungle Speed but 3 for our actual meeting at the Meercaz. In other words, we are a group of nerds who have organized times for meetings and play really nerdy games. We also have names for ourselves (by we, I mean some of us who did a graphic design class with Lila's brother. We were trying to make a brand and to do that, we basically came up with names for those of us in the class.) I am Stoopid Ardfark, Lila is Ninjaardvark, Jason is, I think, Darth Vark, Rachel is Gleekvark I think, Tyler is Aaaaaaarddddddvaaaarrrrkkkkk (to be sung operatically because he has an amazing voice), Avi is Momo or Mother Aardvark, Josh is Bohemian Aardvarc, and I can't remember anymore although I'm sure there's more.

Drama. This might not seem important, but I'm pretty sure it will be important later on.
I should probably start with the whole Rachel-Jason-Lila thing.

Except maybe Marcotte.

Okay, in a nutshell here is what happened during the 4th of July celebration at camp.

A big thing at camp is having a date to the fireworks and another big thing is relationships.

Neither of which I've had in the past 6 years I've gone to camp.

But this year something changed.

Instead of innocently watching the fireworks and recording them and making a lot of comments on them, I was involved in a big big thing.

Plus my brother, who is 11 had a date to the fireworks.

Okay, so Rachel liked Jason. A lot. Like she texted him everyday.

And Jason liked Lila a lot. And she liked him.

Jason wanted to ask Lila to the fireworks but was scared to because he valued Rachel as a friend.

Okay. Read carefully here. It gets complicated.

Avi, Elana (Jason's sister, I didn't give her a bio because this is like 1 of 2 times I am mentioning her, and I don't know if I spelled her name right), me, Shane, Josh, Matt, Ari, Belle, and Zev had this massive plan to get Lila and Jason to sit together during the fireworks. And we ended up not needing the plan because Jason asked her out literally two minutes before the fireworks. And Rachel decided that now I was her new best friend and basically used me as a rag to mop up her tears and a stuffed animal to listen to her. A lot of drama happened because of this and I actually got in trouble for it.

I don't want to write anymore about it.

It's kind of upsetting, especially since now, Lila and Jason have decided it wasn't right for them to be in a relationship.

For the record, I haven't heard from Rachel since before they broke up.



I'm not going to write anymore right now. I just wanna get my video posted, and to do that I have to finish this post.

UPDATE

Hey guys!

I just wanted to tell you, I'm uploading a video on my channel, Maia Reads.

It consists of some explanations and stuff, so I decided I would write some of it down, and some things that I thought of now.

2. I have decided that I will now be posting on a normal schedule. I will either be posting on Sundays around mid-afternoon specifically or Mondays, most likely around the evening because I don't get home until 5:30 on a good day. Let me know if you have a preference for which day I post on.
